Author Focus: Jan Brett and Jane Yolen
In this Author Focus, you will meet children's book author/illustrator Jan Brett and author Jane Yolen. Snuggled in bed at read-aloud time or listening intently during library or school story hours, millions of children worldwide fall in love with Jane and Jan's unique books. Recently, Jane published Least Things, an enchanting collection of nature haikus illustrated with photographs by her son Jason Stemple, and Jan published On Noah's Ark, an imaginative story full of her stunning drawings of animals. Already hard at work developing new books, Jan and Jane generously stepped away from their writing desks to tell us about their own favorite children's authors, how they create their books, and their latest projects.
