Site Tour
Martha is here to help kids learn lots of new words as they play.
Each game on our site introduces a whole bunch of new words. The more kids play, the more words they'll hear. Play along with them if you can, or talk to them about the games later so they have a chance to practice the new words they've learned.
Before you know it, your kids might come to a consensus about which game is their favorite - especially if the weather forecast is for precipitation.

The Amazing Spindini
In the Amazing Spindini, which is part of the Martha’s Circus Spectacular suite of games, you can see your face on the cartoon body of the Amazing Spindini. Move your hands in view of your computer’s camera to make Spindini catch spinning plates on sticks. Only catch plates with an image of something that fits in the category or all your plates will crash and break.

Catch!
It's flying disk time for Martha, Skits, Helen and TD. Martha will ask a question and TD and Helen will offer answers. Kids win a disk when they choose the correct answer; after they win three disks, they get to play catch with Skits! There are some unusual words in here - like ancestor, blaring, and bizarre. Winning these disks will help win word power for your kids!
-
Crash Course
Crash Course is an almost first person point of view game, which is part of the Martha’s Circus Spectacular suite of games. Your view is from behind Courageous Collie Carlo’s head as he navigates an obstacle course. You need to move your own body (or hand) to make Carlo “go through, between, under, around, over etc.” each obstacle in the course. Be careful not to crash!
-
Crazy Vehicle
Martha has to deliver packages in her crazy vehicle. By using the remote control, kids transform the vehicle into a car, boat, or helicopter! Depending on the terrain, players control the vehicle's form as well as accelerate and brake. Kids take an active role in performing the vocab words during both training and challenge levels. See how fast you can transform that crazy vehicle!
-
Dogs on Ice
It's time for the ice skating show and the dogs have gathered at the rink to perform their routines. Coach Martha gives instructions involving vocabulary words such as around, careful, and klutzy. Then kids choose the dogs that can glide and leap across the ice. After practicing, the pups put it to music and perform the final routine!

Martha's Circus Spectacular
Martha’s Circus Spectacular is a suite of four gesture-input games with a circus theme and over forty vocabulary words between them. These games utilize the camera on the computer to capture the movement of the player. Don’t worry, we won’t record you. Players use their own gestures to make choices for and influence the movement of characters on screen. Each game has a keyboard-only version for the player who doesn’t have a camera on his or her computer.
-
Martha's Rhyme Time
With this handy-dandy poetry gizmo kids can create rhyming couplets for Martha to perform. Building each from six different sets of words, there are - mathematically speaking - a bazillion combinations to create. Kids can also customize the performance stage and create a printed version to color and stick to the fridge. And, of course, with Martha being Martha, she'll introduce and explain many new vocabulary words along the way.
-
Martha's Scrapbook
Help Martha create her scrapbook! Players match words to pictures of her friends, and watch a video clip when they've matched three correctly. Pictures and video clips reinforce word meaning, and of course, Martha helps out as well. From cheerful dogs to scheming cats, players will love reliving Martha's memories!
-
Martha Seeks
In Martha Seeks, you’re on the hunt with a pack of puppies for some seriously yummy buried treasure. At the beginning of each round, clues put players on the right path while also using and explaining new vocabulary words. It’s important to keep those ears perked and listen carefully to find the bones that are buried around the yard and avoid any other mystery items that might be hiding!
-
Martha's Steaks
What would a world designed by Martha look like? It would be full of mouthwatering treats of course! In this game, Skits, Rinty, Pops, and Lily demonstrate vocabulary as they leap, glide, flip, bounce, soar, and somersault through a fantastic side-scrolling terrain. Players control the action of the dog, timing their movements to land on or avoid the platforms made entirely of meat. From jumping onto steak platforms, to flying through a maze of chicken drumsticks, players collect treats through a world that is every dog’s fantasy. At the end of a level, players will come face to face with the best treat of all, a smorgasbord of meat! Watch out for the falling hamburgers!

Pup Pals
It's time to pal around with playful pups from the show! Kids choose a dog to "adopt" and then play with them, feed them, and watch their tricks. Martha hosts, offering insight into each pup's personality. Kids choose from Skits, Francois, Pops and Courageous Collie Carlo. When playtime is over, the adopted pal will live at the top of the screen, keeping kids company as they play games and watch videos. Listen for words like personality, expert, outfit and ingest.
-
Pup Talk
If you've got a microphone on your computer, this game will let your kids narrate their very own animated story! Part of our Martha's Stories suite of games, videos and online storybooks, Pup Talk uses your kid's voice to actually control animation on screen as they tell a three-part story. Fish swim, butterflies flutter and a milk shake volcano erupts depending on how loud the kids are! With ten wild scenes to describe, this game is quite unusual, but a whole bunch of fun! The kids' stories are recorded for them to hear (but not saved or shared with others).
-
Radio Martha
What do you give the talking dog that has everything? A radio show! In this game, kids listen in to Radio Martha and find pictures that help illustrate her stories. Scrub-A-Pup
Ever seen those vans that go house-to-house, pampering lucky pooches? Well, we have one right here. If you've never seen a poodle in a top hat, now is your chance.

Skits Cooks
What do dogs dream about? Taking over the pizza parlor, of course! Join Skits and Burt as they prepare pizzas for all their pals - Professor Monkey, Baby Jake and others. Switcheroo
This card game of mixed up pieces introduces words like swap, switch and mix. Can your kids put these costumed kids back together? Or make sure the licky ends of these dogs match the waggy ends? Keep playing and you'll find the game gets pretty tricky!

Town Crier
Part of our Martha's Stories suite of games, videos and online storybooks, the Town Crier lets kids make and print their own newspaper front pages. This feature is designed to work well on an interactive whiteboard or a home computer. Martha hosts a slideshow about news and newspapers and kids can practice what they've discovered by creating any of five ready-made news reports. Then they get to make their own, adding drawings, photos, a word jumble, and a weather report. They can then save and print their very own front page. This can be a whole class activity too, and kids even can use this tool to document field trips. Adult help is probably required.
-
Truman's Word Play
Truman sets the stage for the rest of the Martha crew to put on a terrific show! Kids actively participate in the production by first selecting a word on the stage and then providing the action for three different uses of that word. Kids actively learn the vocabulary as they mimic a dance, vanish a bowl of soup, balance a sombrero by catapulting pineapples, and more!
