Series Goals

• Encourage children to value, respect and better understand a variety of cultures, perspectives, traditions, languages and experiences
• Support children in building their understanding of the English language, with a special emphasis on vocabulary

Helping Kids Prepare for School

Each episode focuses on a particular set of vocabulary words, which are repeated throughout the show. In addition, Maya & Miguel fosters a positive attitude toward knowing and learning more than one language.
