MAMA MIRABELLE'S HOME MOVIES is an animated television series that looks at the animal kingdom from a preschooler's point of view. It features fun-loving characters and captivating wildlife movies from National Geographic.
Mama Mirabelle is a world-traveling elephant explorer. With patience and humor, she shares her adventures with a cast of lively preschool animals from the African savanna. The cast also includes Mama's adorable elephant calf, Max and his friends: a playful cheetah cub named Bo; an inquisitive zebra named Karla; and three hilarious monkey brothers — Kip, Flip, and Chip. This wild bunch watches Mama's "Home Movies" to learn more about their world and how they fit in it.
For children 3 to 6 years old.
Mama Mirabelle's Home Movies is based on the questions and concerns that are common to preschoolers. These issues are turned into stories with problems and resolutions, offering new insights into the needs and habits of wild creatures. The series also showcases original African and world-inspired music, including songs performed by Vanessa Williams. Ms. Williams is also the voice of Mama Mirabelle.
As Mama Mirabelle teaches her animal friends about the world in which they live, preschool children will develop a better understanding of the world in which they live. As a result, preschoolers will be introduced to new ideas and vocabulary, thereby enhancing their literacy skills.
