Ms. Brady plays the "gotcha game" with Jake for a few days. In this game, Ms. Brady gets down on the mat with Jake, where he is used to playing with her, and engages in a give and take of "I got your nose," "I got your toes," etc. Whenever Jake looks at her, or goes to touch her nose or toes, or his own nose or toes, Ms. Brady engages in lots of tickling, which Jake loves. Whenever Jake touches his own nose or toes she imitates him, and gives lots of tickles. Gradually, Ms. Brady begins to wait a few seconds to see if Jake will touch his nose after she says, "Touch your nose."
