Charlie uses a computer to communicate with his mother and father. He has cerebral palsy and is 4 years old. Charlie finds his speech output device particularly important when he is in another room, and wants to call his mom and dad to come in the room and read or play with him. He also has a new baby sister and is beginning to read stories to her whenever he gets a chance.
